PhD Researcher in Computer Science
University of Louisiana at Lafayette
I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, working under the guidance of Dr. Li Chen. My research focuses on Deep Learning, Time Series Analysis, Multi-modality, Computer Vision, and Federated Learning.
With expertise in developing models for hydrological and rainfall predictions, I am passionate about applying machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems, particularly in environmental monitoring and forecasting.
I am actively engaged in mentoring undergraduate and master's students in research, and I have professional experience as a software engineer in the industry.
Developing advanced deep learning models for environmental monitoring, focusing on hydrological and rainfall predictions for Louisiana, USA.
Creating novel time series forecasting approaches, including the Pseudoformer: a Pseudo AutoCorrelation-Attention Mechanism for enhanced prediction accuracy.
Exploring fair and efficient federated learning approaches through projects like FedFair3 and SEAFL to enable collaborative model training while preserving data privacy.
Applying computer vision techniques to environmental monitoring and medical imaging problems, including radar nowcasting and skin cancer classification.
